Christmas on the beach (1)

This year, we had a very special Christmas. We're just so tired of cold Pittsburgh, so bored in winter time. We want to go somewhere that not so cold. South Florida is the best destination in December.
Girls loved the beach! I love it, too.

Turtle

I've never thought turtles could look like this, it even made me to learn how to knit.

But it only took a few minutes to find out that I'm too old to learn a new trick. So I bought this.

My new addiction --Calico critters

So cute. Furniture, made by Melissa and Doug, finished by me.

We're back!

I took a long break blogging. There are so much to catch up. We've been through so much fun in the last few months.

The biggest thing is Sophia's school. She started preschool in September, and she loves it so much. She's very exited for every school day, she takes her teacher's words as golden rules. The best of all, school parties!

Here is a few pictures from Halloween. Sophia wanted to be a bird at the beginning, but we couldn't find a bird costume. At last we settled with a cozy butterfly costume with shiny bright wings. However, on the day before her school Halloween party, Sophia told me she said she wanted to be Cinderella when her teacher asked her what she was going to be for Halloween. I said no because she didn't have Cinderella costume. She said, "mom, just go buy one." I said "OK, but next year."

Sophia went "trick or treat" with her friend and friend's twin sisters. Big sisters were so sweet, they treated these two little girls like princess. They rode a wagon trick-or-treating, got tons of stuff, mostly healthy treats, like juice, crackers. Here is the crew.

Olivia was still too little to enjoy the fun of Halloween but she got perfect costume, too. Even though she worn less than 2 hours, this sweet photo makes it so worth it.
